I got this grinder looks similar to a riverside grinder but is likely home built. It is set up for variable speed but the motor is not working. But, it does have serated 2'', 4'' (both in the platen attatchment), and 8'' contact wheels.

An old heat treat oven that is controlled with a variable transformer.

A ton of knife books maybe 50-100 of them. And, hundreds of knife magazines. Some of which go back to the seventies.

I also got a couple of nice pieces of stag and several zippered knife cases.

On top of that earlier in the week I picked up this sweet enco mill.

I am repeating to myself, over and over, "Just be glad for him, don't think evil thoughts about people luckier than you," and it's not going so well. Looks like you struck oil on that one!

Youre kidding!! Ive never seen a garage sale like that! Around here they have kids clothes and old womens pants and socks!
You Suck!

Must be the coastal state effect. Ours out here suck too. The best thing I've found was a beat up scroll saw...

Nice score!!! I got a big metal washtub full of tools and probably 150 or so new mill ends, all for $20.00. The mill ends run from 1" on down in size. I don't even have a mill, being just a po old injun.

I stayed up till 12:30 putting the books and magazines on a pair of bookshelves. Turns out there are some cool magazines in there. I've got several issues of the ABS magazine. I've got blade magazines going back to the American Blade days my earliest issue is from 74 (One of which has Loveless in some sort of knife pop art picture on the cover with one of the longest cigarette butts I've ever seen). The national knife collector from way back. The 1st issue of Knives Illustrated. An old Loveless catalog and a few old A.G. Russell mailers from the 70's.
