I just pounded my first steel with the 50# Meyer bro. hammer that I have been rebuilding. All I can say is WOW, what a time saver this is going to be! It took me about 3 hours to flatten a 4" section of 1 1/4" JD load shaf down to 1/4" X 1 1/4 by hand. I did a 5" section down to 3/16" thick by 2" wide in 3 heats and about 5 minutes! The other thing that makes the grin even wider is that I only have about $450 in it Matt
