For sale today is this brand new, never used Joe Hoover Camp Chopper. It is a big hunk of 1095 that comes with a choil to allow for chopping and more delicate camp chores.
Specs are as follows:
*1095FG X .260
*AOL- 17 inches
*Grind- Flat
*Blade- 10 1/2 inches to front of scales with a 10 inch shaving sharp edge
*Finish- Hand sanded to 2000 grit
*Handle- 6 1/2 inches provides plenty of torque for heavy cutting or a precise grip for delicate work
*Scales- Black Canvas Micarta left grippy for a secure grip
*Hardware- Stainless Loveless bolts with a stainless 1/4 inch lanyard tube
*Sheath- RH pouch style made, medium/low carry for ease of removing the knife. Made from 7-8 ounce vegetable tanned leather, triple welted, wet molded, stained, and finished out.
