For a little info on how I make my knives, I cut the scales out from the material I chose to use, and epoxied/pinned them to liners I cut. By this point I had already cut and soldered the bolsters to the liners, and I had all the holes ready for pinning. After assembly, I finished shaping the knife and did some finishing sanding before I buffed it to a shine. These knives feel very solid with great "walk and talk" and minimal to no blade play.
