Made from Baron Aldo's 1084FG (fine grain), and it is indeed a great high carbon steel. I don't know what "category" this little guy would technically fall under, so I'm calling it the HULIBU.

Hunter's Little Buddy!

Overall length is just shy of 7.5"
Blade length is about 3.5"
Handle about 4"
1/8" (actually .135") 1084 from Aldo. His 1084 has a touch of Vanadium for fine grain.
Heat treated in digitally controlled kiln. P50 quench. Triple tempered to approx 61-62HRC.
No sharpened apex on it at the moment. Edge is taken down almost to zero, barely enough steel to reflect light as it sits now.
I can sharpen this to whatever angle you would like and whatever grit finish you like, up to 12K (JIP).
Handle is Claro Walnut Burl. Danish Oil/TruOil/Johnson Wax. SS pins.
Black Kydex sheath will be included. Secured with chicago screws for quick disassembly/cleaning.

That is a really nice looking knife! Would make a killer hunting blade  I wish I could be trusted with a non-stainless with such a nice finish. Very well done.

Ah, yes, the sheath! Thank you 99cuts. Just got it some kydex today, so I will include a black kydex sheath with purchase!!!! Also I will edit the sales post to reflect this as well.

The kydex will not be riveted together, but rather secured with chicago screws so that you can take it apart and clean the interior.
