I hate working with carbon fiber.

Correction I HATE working with carbon fiber.

But I love the way it looks.

Humpback in S90V with low void aerospace grade carbon fiber with toxic/neon green liners, titanium hardware and a brass decorative pin on a Tapered tang. Blade is 3.2 inches. Overall is 7 inches. The blade is hollow ground with a .007 BTE thickness. Black leather sheath with neon green thread.

Dry sanding at 120. Then wet up to 400. Mask, sleeves and long pants. No dust collection system yet. I need to get one. I end up spending as much time sweeping as grinding (also in a mask).

Here's an idea for you. Assuming you have a shop vac, rig up the hose with a vacuum head and position it to suck up the dust when you sand. I used to make custom CF scales for Sebenzas and Striders about 20 years ago. Really worked well! You'll probably want to use ear protection, too.

Only thing worse than CF is that Lightning Strike Carbon.

Yeah. I used to use alot of carbon fiber both for knife handles and 1911 grips when I was still building them. Had a similiar set up. My shop vac is dead now, destroyed during a pcs move.
