Forged closest to the shape from 52100 steel round bar, as a larger hunting or all around the camp knife.
It's 13/64" thick at the touchmark with a nice distal taper and it feels great in the hand.
Rounded heel for more comfortable grip.
Flats are left raw, soaked in vinegar and wire brushed after forging.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are made in satin finish with scotch brite.
