Hunter/Bowie set

Thank you for all the positive comments and feedback, I really appreciate hearing from all of you!

I really enjoy matched sets and this is a fine pair.

Thank you Roger, I really like matched sets as well and is something I would like to do more of.

Super nice set, Ben. Love that koa! Bummed I never got a chance to swing a hammer with you back when I still lived in New England...

Thank you! Both pieces of Koa are definitely killer. If you are ever back in New England get in touch, I'd love to swing some hammers with you.

Both very nice. That bowie looks like it would cut like a ninja on a caffeine induced rampage!:D

Darcy:)

Haha that cracked me up, and it definitely does! It's the first time I have used 1075 on a knife this big. After putting it through a ton of testing I was super impressed.

Thanks Again!

Well, on a bittersweet note, I'll be back in Vermont next month to liquidate my old shop ... wanna buy a forge? ;) My wife still has family in Houlton and Bath though so who knows, maybe one day I'll swing down Camden way and surprise you.

Over here in Germany we have our own version of 1075 called C75, and I've just recently started playing with it myself. A simple steel, but a great performer, and as you yourself just demonstrated it can produce a very nice hamon too. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of it going forward

Turned out really nice, Ben. Looking forward to our collaboration project;)

Oh man, that is bittersweet. Hope to see you in the Midcoast one of these days. I agree, 1075 definitely produces a nice Hamon and I'll be using more of it for sure.

you just can't beat a good set! ;)

Great job Ben. I've really been admiring your work as of late. Your fit and finish paired with your designs are outstanding!

Hello all
