tough crowd around here these days .

Had a conversation with a different maker about that, I think there's just so many good options that it's almost hard to choose what to buy, from a customer standpoint. It's a buyer's market right now, IMO.

I was also thinking about how the folks seem to like to hit the like button instead of typing a " nice knife ". Easier , I appreciate the likes make no mistake of that but an extra effort is SO much more . Oh well .

There's a grey area there, to me at least, because the rules for sale ads states that you're not supposed to comment on a knife unless it's about purchasing the knife. I think it's loosely enforced but I have been warned about it once before. In the mod's defense, I was answering a question from someone asking a question about a knife, something about steel I think, that got me the warning.

Nice knife, BTW ;). I like the belly and do enjoy a nice hollow-grind. I have something similar on order from a different maker at the moment or I would be pretty tempted on this one.

Good luck with the sale

It is a beauty, to be sure.

I make that compliment in hopes I won’t be called out as I was one other time when offering a compliment. Maybe the mods have lightened up on that.

The post regarding competition is spot on as well. There are so many very high quality craftsmen such as yourself, it gets hard to choose. “Analysis paralysis” is what I’ve heard it called. I suffer from it somewhat myself.

Thanks Farmboy and bikerector for the nice comments , I found the clarification in the rules .

The only exception to this is in the Knife Makers Market areas (if the maker/craftsman requests and welcomes feedback) .
