Thanks for the comments I appreciate it, plenty of belly on this blade, it should peel the hide off one very well.

This knife was designed to be used as a skinner, small chopper, or can opener if needed. It's a no frills working knife that won't get in your way while you sitting in your favorite deer stand or hiking your favorite trail.

Back to the top with a last price reduction, 85.00, black powder starts tomorrow here in North Carolina, guess this one will see some use at home.

Payment received and your knife will ship on Monday 11/17/08 by USPS Priority Mail insured for purchase amount.
Thanks

This knife was delivered yesterday!
I am very impressed so far. If I were to describe this knife in one(okay two) word it would be "heavy-duty", especially for a piece this small. This is my first blade that is 3/16" thick; and it really surprised me how thick that actually is. It will be interesting to see how I like this thickness. I really can't think of anything that should be improved on this knife. Like the knife, the sheath was also very well made, and it happens to match my Lucchese's nicely. I'm very happy with my purchase and feel like I got a great deal.

I would recommend this maker to anyone needing a knife, he was great to deal with. Also he was kind enough to offer me a generous Military discount, even on an already greatly discounted piece. A Military discount is never something I would ask a custom knife maker for, so getting one was a nice surprise.
