REPOST

I modified my Mossy Trail hunter slightly, and this is what I have come up with.

The steel is San Mai with Blue #2 (Aogami) core, and low carbon sides. This steel is well known to take a fine edge, and is VERY sharp.

The handle is beautiful Ancient Bog Oak from the Ukraine. There is subtle wood grain with flecks of silver throughout the handle. The wood was stabilized by WSSI.

SPECS:

OAL: 8-3/4″
Blade Length: 4-1/4″
Blade width: 1-1/4″ at the ricasso
Blade: 1/8" with a tapered tang. Full flat grind, this thing is a slicing machine!
Copper pins and lanyard tube
Comes with a hand stamped, pancake style leather sheath. This style of sheath is very comfortable to wear.

Like I said above, this style of carry is very comfortable. It's also versatile, in that you can wear it strong side, cross draw weak side, or behind the back.

Awesome knife and that sheath looks great! I'm surprised this is still available!
Bog Oak is so beautiful and hard to fully appreciate in photos. Great job!

Damn, another one of these beauties... I gotta sell something and get one of these.
