I just got back from the Ohio Classic knife show this weekend. It was great, BHK did an awesome job promoting. I went with 15 and came back with 4.
This is one of the ones I came back with. I am a little surprised, it was one of my favorites. Maybe I marked it up too much because I like it, so I will remedy that here.
It is W2 forged from one of Hansons big cylinders of W2. Of course the blade has been clay quenched for a nice hamon. The spine also has been fileworked with my random vine pattern
The handle is linen micarta and cocobolo. The cocobolo has a nice deep red color. It is held in place with pins and acraglas.
The sheath is 8-9oz leather from Wickett and Craig. It is hand stitched and tooled.
Dimensions
Blade - 4 1/2" tip to handle
OAL - 9"
Price - $210 shipped to US. I prefer paypal, but will accept check or money order.
The first to post here "I'll take it!" gets it.
Sorry this one is a touch out of focus
Different lighting to show the hamon
Thanks for looking
