Hi Marekz,
No it is not stabilized.
Here are my reasons.
I had the block for a couple of years before I cut it into slabs.
Being that the slabs were solid I put them on the knife 2006.
There was no noticeable movement after 4 years.
The receding at the finger grooves I put in on the bolster and the wood so a thumb would have a better grip.
I hope this answers the question.
