Hunter knife finished

Bruce,

Both the overall package and the steel are VERY NICE. I really like what you've done with the steel. There are soooo many things that you can do with a "W" and this is a beautiful example.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm very pleased to say that this beauty will be coming to me after Claude Scott finishes it's sheath.
I will try to post a photo of the sheath when I receive it.

Kevin, I have the sheath back and snapped a picture of it for ya.

Thanks Bruce for the look at the sheath. Claude did a nice job.
See it's got some Jere Davidson engraving in the butt cap as well.

Thanks Jon.
I just received the knife today an it's outstanding. Though Bruce's photos are not bad, they don't do it justice.
I wanted to answer some question that were asked and post a few more photos.

Bruce,
Are those spacers or grooves/engraving?
Excellent piece!
Jason

Jason, grooves/engraving. Amazing how Jere gets them so straight. He engraves with hammer/chisel, amazing to see him work.

So sweet
Like it very much ;)

Is it a 9 incher?
Sometimes I got confuse between a hunter and a skinner :p

mohd

Over all length is 8"-5/8" & Blade length is 4"-1/8"

Here's a photo of the back side, stag is equally beautiful if not more so.

Here's a couple shots of Jere Davidson's engraving of the butt cap.
