Been a while since I posted, been stockpiling materials for this coming year or more so that I can concentrate on making knives.

I'm starting to try and move towards some more intricate work on my knives, and the sheaths need to keep up. The tooled sheath really complements the flashy ironwood. Works nicely. I finished this blade almost a month ago, but wanted to wait until I had time to put it in a fully tooled sheath.

This is my standard hidden tang sculpted gunstock hunter/skinner pattern, but in a slightly narrowed down "slim carry" variant. Really hides nicely on the hip for how much knife it is. I added red/black g10 spacers to complement the ironwood.

I'd like to get $325 shipped for this setup, I feel a very fair price for the time I have in it. Paypal preferred. I'd like to get this one paid and out asap, so prompt payment is appreciated.

These were tough to photograph, so here's a couple shots in different lighting to show the colors better:

Old mate I would consider that worth every penny!

What style is your leather carving? Looks a little like Sheridan style though hard to say for sure from that angle.

It's my own take on some different sheridan patterns. I'm still a little rusty, but I think this is a pretty handsome piece, suits the knife quite well.

Thanks, appreciate the comments.

Hopefully this one finds a home... I'd like to do more of this if there is a good response.

Ian,
Lovely work. Great knife.
If I didn't have one in the Q I might snap this one up.

Ian,

If this is still available I will take it.

Thanks

P.S. - What is your email/ paypal address? I am on my phone and was unable to find in your post. Cheers

That sheath is very elegant. It's good to see you posting again, Ian. I love your knife designs, and the gunstock handle you make is still among my favorites of all time.
