Another one forged from 52100 round bar.
This time, i've tried to forge nice hunting knife. It's forged to shape with nice distal taper, feels great in the hand, and it looks good and simple.
Flats are left raw, wet forged and wire brushed after forging.
After heat treatment, flats are brushed with scotch brite.
Bevels are made in satin finish with scotch brite.
Details:
Overall length - 10,5"
Blade length - 5,7"
Blade width - 1,3"
Thickness at the back of the spine -11/64"
Tapers to 3/64" at the end of tang
Knife weight is 6,25oz, and with sheath is 9,3oz
Handle material: beautiful piece of stabilized figured walnut, black G10 liners, carbon fiber pins and lanyard tube.
Handmade, 9/64" thick vegetable leather sheath.
