very interesting way of using the blade and handle to create a useful knife.
Scandinavian/Japanese but totally different.

I'm looking forward to getting it. I always have a little bit extra anticipation if I'm getting a knife from a maker I've never gotten a knife from before.

p.s. I'm camping right now and a racoon just walked past while typing this. Is that a good sign or a bad sign? :)

depends on if you make him mad or not. I watched my cousin get chewed up after trying to kick it. We were coon hunting and I was laughing to hard to turn the dogs loose ,just don't piss it off

It turned out to be a bad thing. That racoon ended up getting into our cooler and ate all the meat I had planned for meals for our 3 day trip! Bastard!!!

I had no idea they could open a cooler. I didn't have one with a latch or anything but it was unreal.

The other thing was it only ate one of the dozen eggs in the cooler but made a hole in the carton just big enough to get the egg through and got it out without breaking it or any of the other eggs in there.

Between that and the squirrel that was so used to people that it was taking cheetos out of my kid's hands (and ended up scratching me) this has been an interesting trip. In the wilderness forum they have all the pictures of crazy snakes, spiders, etc but I'm busy talking about squirrels and racoons. I'm just not on the same level as them.

I have a wireless air card (I'm not too far out in the boonies).

The bad news is I need it for work in case there is a client with a problem. The good news is after the kids head off to bead I still get some bladeforums time! :)
