Steel: W2, forged. Full, tapered tang. 600 grit handrubbed finish on the blade. Handle is buffed.

Hardness: 60 RC

Handle material: African blackwood scales with red liners. Stainless Loveless bolts.

These hunters you put out are a study in perfection, there isn't one tiny aspect I'd alter, they're just without flaw...& I love the leather sheath too, well done!
 
thank goodness this has finally sold . To nice to be sitting around here .

I know, it's so funny...I thought that Phillip had made a couple of these previously & I finally pulled the trigger on one, but I looked back & realized that this is the same knife I commented on about half a year ago! Every time this went back up, lots of folks said all kinds of great things about it - I doubt these stats are kept, but I'd bet that this knife holds the BF record for most positive comments on a single knife in the exchange - I feel especially honored to end up with it.
