This knife is a variant of my Capybara design. I've nicknamed it "The Turkey Trimmer" . The blade is forged from .1875" 1095, 3.25" blade, 416 ss guard, and a sheep horn handle, which I tried to remove as little bark as possible for a "grippy" texture.

Price is $225 plus shipping and insurance. The knife comes with a case, no sheath.

Matt that is a very nice looking knife, I like the style and size for a user! Can you describe the handle construction, it appears to be a hidden tang, is it mortised and glued, drilled and glued or is it a glued full tang and I just can't see it in the pictures?

Jim, the knife is a hidden tang, mortise construction. The tang runs to within 1/4" of the butt, two rivets, file worked contoured edges, coarse finish flats, "veined" scales, and everything is acetoned before epoxy.
