I think John is out of town but I will try to answer for him. He usually makes the sheath after the knife is purchased so the buyer can get what he wants.

Yeah, he can definatly hook you up with a firesteel loop on it. He did it with mine, which is almost the same knife as this one.

BTW, he can rehandle your firesteel to match the knife if ya want..... He did mine and its too sweet....

I received this knive today. All I can say is wow. It is going to be a great addition. The workmanship looks great. And not just in the knife the sheath is killer. Love the firesteel loop. I can not wait to try this out in the field. I plan to use it alot hunting and camping this fall and winter. Hope to use it in the next couple of weeks. I was lucky enough to get drawn for a gator tag down here in Georgia this year. So maybee I can report how it skins gator hides.
 
Cool man, hopefully you will do more than give a report. Post some pictures of it used. We love that kind of stuff, maybe it;s the kid in me.

Glad you like the knife and sheath. I plan on doing more of this model using wood for the handles.

I will defently post some pics of it in action. Just a question though I am really new to this forum should I post to this section or another would be better. I do not want to interfear with people trying to sell stuff. I am defently hooked on John's knives. I will have to say this is my first custom knife. I have been in to custom guns for a while. Now I new hobby. They best thing about it is you can feel the quality in just holding the knife.
 
Most people post about their knife uses in the Wilderness and Survival Skills forum. Now go out and get that knife dirty!!! ;)
