I couldn't quite make it out in the photo but is one of the guys hunting with a Sharps replica---or is that a smokepole?

Yeah its my dads custom made Sharps made by the golden gun guys in .45-70.
It has a unbelievable amount of engraving on it.

I will get afew pictures of it.

Cool! I have a Shiloh 34" Long Range Express with upgraded wood but I didn't spring for any engraving. Your father's sounds sweet.

Yeah, he likes to hunt with pretty thinks.

I would be happy with a Mosin Nagant that has been buried under an apartment building in Budapest for the last 50 years.

I like function he likes looks.

A few years ago I briefly rented a condo in an old Budapest building about five blocks from the Danube. It might have had a Mosin buried in it. Some of the back exterior walls had pock marks that looked like old bullet hits that had never been repaired.

Only found a small patch of it and I have never seen it.

looks like wintergreen, but the leaves are the wrong shape.
