If you have knife maker membership, update your status. otherwise you have to purchase one of those prior to selling in this subforum.

Is this a stick tang? If so, how is it mounted/secured?

Good luck and welcome aboard

Handle looks to be wood not birch bark.
95KH18 is a steel i have not heard of. Is it a stainless steel ?
What country would this knife be shipping from ?
thanks, kj

Fikus, welcome to bladeforums!

This is a knife you made? Why not tell us a bit about yourself or link a website? Where are you from? Can you clarify the materials of which the knife is made? Handle, bolster, blade. Something about the process, maybe?

Also, we want to be sure it is a knife that you yourself made. There are other areas of bladeforums for selling production and custom knives that you did not make, this area is specifically for knifemakers to sell the product of their labors.

Regarding your membership, you need to make it public thus:

Go to settings (top right) and click on Group Memberships. Select the membership level you just purchased.

A Birch bark handle is made of stacked rings of Birch bark (similar to stacked leather washers making a leather handle).
Your knife is definitely not this. The wood could be Birch and with twisted grain known as a "burl".

There is a separate place for selling custom knives: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/748-For-Sale-Custom-Knives-(Individual)

It would be more advantageous for your friend to acquire his own "knifemaker" account and sell directly through this section as you are doing. It would be great to get to know him and his work a bit more, as this would instill trust from potential customers.

Here is a link to the rules for buying/selling/trading on bladeforums: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/announcement.php?f=699&a=98

And please follow the previous instructions to display your membership level.

Again, welcome to bladeforums!
