Hunting knife in d2

Any chance we're ever going to get a new hunting knife like the old safari skinner in d2? I would really love one of these. Sr-101 does ok, but d2 will be so much better.

The vex is d2 and it handles real nice, its thin and got a good blade shape. They can be found for reasonable prices on the exchange

I've used both, and honestly, I cant tell the difference in edge retention and ease of sharpening. SR101 is easier to find today, but like drbarnes said the old D2 knives are still out there at fair prices.

Get em while they are there. But for me, SR101 is up to the task.
