Hunting knife/set question

Wow. That is a great collection. I had a sharp finger once. Worked very well till I lost it 😁 Bob dozier is a awesome option as well. Not cheap but not to expensive but very high quality and hds a awesome edge.

I mean no disrespect to anyone, but I've never liked the Sharpfinger. I don't like the way the grind gets so thick near the ricasso, making it impossible to sharpen on the section of edge where you have the most leverage. All I've seen also had edges about 3 times thicker than necessary, and I don't care for the boxy handles. I've also always preferred a wide bellied skinner type blade rather than a trailing point, for skinning. If I need a fine point for controlled cutting, I usually use a smaller folder.

For those who like that style, have you seen the older Case Pro-Lock series of knives, for a folding version?

This is why there are many, many designs of knives. Pick whatever you like whether anyone else does or not. Plus it leaves more Sharpfingers for me! :)
