This is a midsize hunting knife. Big enough to dress a deer and light enough to carry all day long.
The blade is "bulat" steel (aka Wootz\Crucible Damascus) from Russian craftsmen Ivan Kirpichev. It has very nice steel pattern. The blade is 3-3/4+" long, 7/8" wide and about 3/32" thick. Flat bevels, distal taper, 800 grit finish. The blade was etched to bring up the contrast.
The bolster is my make Mokume-Gane made made of Copper and Nickel-Silver.
The handle is Black walnut with good color and rich figure. It was vacuum treated and polished.
This knife comes with the leather sheath. Hand stitched, dyed and tooled.
SOLD
Thank you.
