Hunting Knife

I really like the Bark River's, Loveless style, Drop Point Hunter in that role.

The 154CM blade offers better edge retention then Bark River's awesome A2 and is fairly stain resistant to boot.

I've seen them as low as $160, even cheaper for pre-owned examples.

Great knives! Great thread too. I love browsing threads like these to get inspiration for a next knife choice.

I have used a Knives Of Alaska Wolverine hunter for years.I would also recommend a Cold Steel master hunter.Anything you can get from Scott Gossman. He is an avid outdoorsman and know what works. I have 2 knives by Scott.

For any purchase of $100 or more, the first place I go is to the Knifemaker's for sale section of Blade Forums. The next place I look is in the Member's For Sale section, under custom knives. Why buy a factory if you can get custom for the same money?
