hunting report from new zealand

All over lol. We fly into Christchurch and then travel all around. Any places to use a spinning reel? Or mostly fly?
 
yes , lots of places to use spinners. reasonable chance of huuuge fish in the tekapo canals. the matauri river in southland is a famous brown trout river. theres plenty of fishing spots really.im in wellington so if you make it up north let me know and i can try and help you out.have a look at this forum too.
