Hunting Season - Traditional

I will take this on my next buffalo hunt????.............looks like a green river Daley but with 6 inch blade...............................FES

I usually load up on cutlery when in the field. Here is my proposed arsenal.

In pants pocket, Case TB Sowbelly, 3-3/4" closed

Primary field dressing, Spyderco South Fork, 9-1/2" overall

Skinning and delicate work, GEC H73 UP Land Hunter, 7-1/4" overall

I'll leave this one here if it's kept to traditional knives. Guns and, obviously, non traditional knives belong somewhere else.

This Russell Easler drop point is my best hunter and favorite. It's not a large knife, but that's good for me as I hunt small game, no big critters to slice up. It is 7-5/8" oal, ATS34 , stag and stainless hilt.

Bark River, Loveless Classic Drop Point Hunters and Gunny (drop point) Hunter. Desert ironwood burl.

For me this year it will be my Buck 110 and my Gary Crowder. I hope to put them to use this weekend. Not much better than traditional bows and traditional knives, winning combination. Whatever you fellows carry to the woods good luck, have fun and be safe.

Right now I'm primarily focused on bird hunting, so I've been carrying this one quite a bit:

Along with whatever folding knife I'm also carrying.

I have a short rifle season for elk that starts soon, and I'll likely be carrying my Blackjack:

I didn't go deer hunting this year but if I had, I'd have carried this old Buck 112 and a Buck 102 Woodsman.
