Hunting Season - Traditional

Virgin season for the Blackjack; thing is amazingly sharp and cuts like a warm knife through butter. The 73 is a lot of blade in a small package and did the majority of the butchering (along with a Case boning knife). The spey blade works especially well for cleaning meat of unwanted tissue.

buck 110, shrade sharp finger, and usually a small case in my pocket for fidgeting with when Im bored.

I've yet to figure out who made this one but it is a fantastic little hunting knife. It's traveled a lot of miles with me and been bloodied quite often over the years.

Be carrying a pair of Dowell Carbon Fiber's...

Those Blackjack and Bark Rivers are nice - they shout "Randall" influence in their style, very nice! I agree pinnah, lots of stunning knives in this thread. Here is my Randall hunting knife, it may get used if I take a third deer this season. OH

That is a really nice looking knife. What is it?

Thanks! It's a Blind Horse 'Bird & Trout' with fiddleback maple and black liners. I've cleaned over a dozen grouse with it so far this season and it still cuts like a scalpel.
