  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Hunting Those Elusive Bucks

OK,,,just what is a needle scaler?

Pawn Shops around here always seem to want triple new price. Yeah,,,never give them their tag price. All the 110's I have ever found here in pawn shops were basically destroyed.

Messer, I bit the bullet and spent about $150 bucks on that reel, and it came with 50ft of hose. The cheap ones looked and were exactly that....cheep..... Been using this one near 3 years now. Sears Hardware. Northern may carry one very similar. Cheaper ones at homie de pot. Those didn't look like they would last. Worth every penny I paid for it. Get the deep hole impact sockets when you get an impact wrench. Great for driving lag screws. Wayyyyy faster than a ratchet.

...I bet you've seen 'em Larry...It's an air tool used to remove slag after welding...

Also removes scabby rust...dried up paint...etc... ;)

The air drives the needles (~1/8" dia x 10" long) back and forth in an oscillating motion...like hitting the object with an icepick...except there's like 20 icepicks...and they're fast... :)
