Hunting/Trip Pics...

That boar looks scary even while it is dead. *chills
Ugly and stinky Lexi, Ugly and Stinky... a little like me really...so not scary at all.... ;)

These are in the New England area of NSW :D

And stinkyspice ...just to upset you... that is a HJZ80 .... not an FJ80.... one very very subtle difference.... ;)

Can you get a hunting permit all year or are you restricted to seasons?.... I reckon that pigs are a nuisance and can be killed all year?.... What of the other games?

Deer have a season (depending on species depends on when), pigs, goats, foxes, etc etc are not at all restricted. You can also kill deer at a property owner's request, as they are considered a pest, so almost year round there as well. Game Licencing can be helpful if you want to hunt on public land but is not required if hunting on private land.

Great pics as usual Andy. I really like that trailer. Needs a knife pic in there somewhere. We're you carrying your ASH?

Great pictures, as usual, Andy! Seeing green grass and sitting water is a great sign. It looks like you had a wonderful time, I envy your trips into the wild. Thanks for sharing!

As to knives...well yes... there were knives.... ;)

Walking I had a Buck folder and my BATAC with me (there was also an RMD in my pack - I forgot it was there till I was runnaging for the camera . There was an ASH1 back with the bike as I pretty much always have an ASH with me somehow... I mean the dead could rise and I would hate to be caught short !!! :D

.... thanks Lora... as I said before it beats the hell out of being at work..:D this rain is a great start to winter for them...!!!!!

Did you mess with the contrast or something? These pics look amazing!
... the better pics are pretty much as they come out of my Nikon DSLR, the ones that look a bit washed out are from a Pentax WR90 pocket camera and I had to clean them up a little to make me happy.

I could use a nice relaxing trip like that as well. It looks like it was a good time. I just bought a 200 series land cruiser. It needs a snorkel and a solid arb on the front too.

Nice !!! I presume the one you have is petrol driven ?? The 200 series GX is the one I like in the present range here, twin turbo V8 diesel with barn doors like my 80 series. Just too much money to change over from mine at the moment.

I could deal with spending a week in your neck of the woods. Great pics and info — thanks Andy.

Awesome photos, Andy. Yeah I reckon a fella needs a few weeks up there to enjoy it all.......glad you made it back ! ;)
