Yep, the type of game that I am hunting depends on the firearm that I am taking...

ducks my trusty Browing A5 12 gauge 3in mag
dove my Noble 12 guage double barrel (crap I sold that one)
squirrel my Ruger 10-22
Plinking Ruger 10-22 or M4A2
white tailed deer my Browning BAR 30-06
two legged deer Trogens Magnum (oh wait I'm married)
 
-Deer: Remington 700 ADL 30-06 or Thompson Encore .50 Cal Muzzleloader
-Deer: PSE Compound Bow
-Turkey: Remington 870 12 Guage Pump
 
No need for guns here.
We just catch one and get him to phone all of his mates and invite them down. :D

For something a little different check out the thermobaric rounds for the 40mm grenade launcher. They get great reviews, especially if you hunt in caves.

The spotter is to keep the drinks coming and for when I'm down to one eye, and as a rule I'm not aloud to hunt this way in the same state as my wife.:rolleyes:

I hunt hard and often and as for Cobalts pig there, I hope he used Magnums because anything smaller might not have provided adequate coverage...I mean penetration...I mean lubri.....ahh heck.

Yeah well, I know that everyone enjoys their own things... I grew out of the whole hatred thing earlier in life... I know that game is well, game, and that your not going out shooting your dogs and cats... which would just be wrong :thumbdn: , but I still completely disagree with illegal hunting and poaching as I'm sure all you are...


Some people like to collect stamps, some collect underwear off Ebay, some collect hunting trophies, and weirdest of all, some collect shiney pieces of metal that vary in size, and have sharp edges... ;)


I have to agree though that that HOG in Cobalts picture is very impressive... and I was reading threads on the CRK forum about some hunting pics and a Hippo that was killed because it charged a bunch of locals...


TBH before I joined BF, I think I'd still have some very strong or at least 'stronger' views on hunting, but there are so many people from so many walks of life, thats is mainly interesting to see what others get up to.


I would feel pretty ticked off if started a thread about my Drum and Bass DJ'ing and someone slated it because they thought it was terrible music, or useless mind numbing noise.... each to their own I guess... everyone has an opinion, but I reserve my opinions until I feel they have to be voiced... :p
