I really hate to have to sell this grail of a chopping tool, especially since I never had the opportunity to use it, but I overextended myself buying a VEPR minutes after hearing about the import ban (and hours before prices skyrocketed, thank goodness!).
For sale is a Huntsman Fell Beast -- a heavy chopping tool designed for both the hard and soft woods of North American forests. The machete was originally offered in two thickness: .108" and .135". This is the thicker model. The blade is made of spring tempered 52100 while the handle is black micarta with brown micarta liners. The sheath is a tight-fitting kydex sandwich style with plenty of mounting/strapping options. The Fell Beast is a new hybrid breed of machete that I've developed specifically for use in hardwood forests where extreme durability is required and failure is not an option. It is a heavier, more powerful machete designed for everything from clearing blackberries to felling hardwood trees. They are extremely tough, fast in hand, and with proper technique, will out chop any tool in its weight class. Made from 52100 steel with a spring tempered spine and 58RC edge, these will hold up to extreme use where other machetes chip, roll, or suffer catastrophic failure.
