We seen rain all day I now have a 2' deep pond as a front yard!!! Now the wind is starting to take down trees and get worse as we go.

You definitely got it much worse than me. Glad you're ok. I took a walk with some friends later on at night, and it seemed like every road but my road was OK, whereas my road had a few large branches/trees down & the power was out all night.

my buddy lives in north carolina... told him to tie two kegs together and use a battle mistress as an oar. just trying to think what jerry would do.

I live in nc about an hour from the coast and we had fully grown trees ripped out of the ground with their rootballs and loads of powerlines down. I think only 8 people where hurt but there is a decent amount of flood damage. Saw several cars float away.
