Hurricane Sandy

Looks like a system coming up the coast in a few days. Just about a sure shot to become a Nor-Easter. Some more tidal flooding, some gusty winds, and a bit more rain. Not a big deal here, but certainly not what the folks up North need. Maybe a good snow in NY/New England.
 
The forecast is for high winds, that much they say is for sure. Seventy to eighty mph; that will only add to an already dicey situation. Batten down the hatches guys and girls.

I've got to go. I'll be working hard to push this system east. So far tonight and tomorrow it will be "periods of snow" ! Maybe just a broom job instead of shovel !

That is good to hear.

Maybe I should talk to Aldo about his security plans. At Ashokan I suggested the it would be a good idea if he put a big dike around the shop. He said he would. Last I heard, he hired a tattooed biker chick to shear stock to size.....hmmmm.....maybe I need to be clearer.
