Driving through cloverdale, pull into a little lawn tool/compressor repair shop and behold.... A lonely forgotten 26 inch husqvarna limbing or small forest axe made by wetterlings, dusty with a little surface rust marked down to 45$!!!!
At the till the old guys screensaver is a big female rhodesian ridgeback. I comment nice ridge is it yours? Chat a bit and he gives it to me no taxes!!
I thought I did well getting 3 wetterlings large hunters axes for 59$ each a few years back.
It pays to pull into little nondescript shops and have a good look at the back of their racks and out of the way corners. Not to mention being friendly.
Could not help to brag, what a score for 45$ Gotta learn how to post pictures but 26 in at .85kg with a leather sheath with buckle, perfect camping or cold weather backpack axe. MMMSWEDISHSTEEL
