Hello all,

Here is a hunting knife for your consideration.

Steel: 1/8 52100 (rounded spine, tapered tang, hand sanded) - Blade is 3.75 inches long, handle is 4.5 inches from guard to butt, Overall 8 1/4 inches long
Handle: Ivory Paper Micarta w/ Red Liner
Sheath: Ambidextrous horizontal carry dyed brown (I'm still figuring out the sheath thing but I'm trying to make them as small as possible so you can tuck the blade in your pocket also)

The steel is triple quenched and double tempered to a hardness of 60 on the Rockwell C Scale. Half of this knife was actually hand sanded by Jason Knight and the edge geometry was set by him as well. The knife will ship with an aggressive meat cutting edge. It will shave but roughly. This edge is super aggressive and versatile, I recommend you try it. If you would like a higher polish just let me know.

The sheath is ambidextrous horizontal carry, should work well for a 4 wheeler or extended sitting. I left 3 fingers of grip protruding for an easy draw even with a gloved hand.

Asking price is $175, that includes insured shipping in continental USA. Please post here first if you would like it then we can work out payment.

Thanks for looking.

Any pics of it showing the full tang NOT inside the sheath? Im curious about the guard...if the tang is shaped similarily or if the guard molds over the tang somehow...

Thanks everyone.

The steel is shaped into a guard and I clean it up with a round file. I left the heat treat scale in the choil on this one to prevent rust. The last couple I made had some spotting in that area.
Here you go:

The hunting season where i am starts may 15...roe buck.
It will see plenty of use, i'll keep u informed how well it performs.
i know 52100 is a great steel for skinning game and it usually sharpens easily...
i'm more concerned with the exposed tang pitting but i'll do my best to keep it dry and well oiled.

sending funds now. Thanks again
