Hydration packs - whatcha use?

Camelbak asymetrix. I have both the 20 and the 30 and think they are fantastic. More room than the HAWG or MULE. Fit great. I can easily do an overnight in these.

I use a camelbak BFM. Love the versatility. It is a huge pack but not cumbersome. You can cinch it down with fastecs on the sides if your not carrying a lot of gear. I carry it everywhere I go. I often use it as a carry on or even as luggage. Stands up to abuse very well. I have used it overseas on 2 deployments as well.

I use Hydrastorm Tsunami or Cyclone for training and local hikes. These packs are super durable and can take a lot of abuse; should last a long time. For serious SUL (super-ultra-light) backpacking I use either the Fanatic Fringe Thompson Peak Pack (9.5 oz) or Alpine Trail Pack (7 oz) depending on how much gear I need to carry. Platypus hydration bladders are carried in the mesh pockets on the outer surface of the packs.

Yes I love the light stuff but will probably get beat up for it around here.
Fanatic Fringe Alpine Trail-Gear for my jungle trip.

I use a M.U.L.E.

It's not that big to store a lot of things, but I only use it for short hikes otherwise I use my Kelty daypack with the 100oz bladder from the MULE.

I found a Rim Runner for $50; before pulling the trigger, though, I'm taking the suggestion to check out ebags.com and North Face bags. North Face's stuff has always fit me well and an be found for decent sale prices, if one looks hard enough. Thanks for all the feedback, y'all! :)

Anyone use a gerber? I just purchased one from campingsurvival.com and was just wondering. Its the SERRA XC. It has some storage, enough for me

I use the platapus and MSR hydration systems. The platy's tend to break down and peel after a few years, which might be caused by chemical water treatment. The MSR dromlite bags are very tough and I think I like them better, but they cost three times as much.
