Anyone know where I can get a copy of Jim Batson's book, "Build your own hydraulic press"? Thanks, Phil

Good Morning Phil, I picked up my copy through Don Fogg http://www.dfoggknives.com/hydralic.htm

To go along with it, I printed an excellent addendum to Batsons book. A comprehensive parts list IG put together that has all of the applicable part #'s for the hydraulic components, and where to get them.

IG ?? :)

Thanks for the link to Donn's site. I haven't spent much time visiting it, looks cool.

IG, yes I truly would like a copy of that spread sheet. Undertaking this project would be a long haul, but the sooner I get informed, the sooner I can start scrounging.

Does anyone have the Baston book scanned?

I'm being cheap and don't want to part with the cash without giving it a good preview first.

I've been burned on "books" before that turned out to be less than satisfactory.

If it's info i already have, I have thousands of ways to spend that $35

Hi Steven,
I've seen it. Just an opinion, but if you'd like a bladesmithing press info book, it won't disappoint.

If you want pics, gotta look elsewhere. Just tons of specs, tables, how-to's, etc.

Take care, Craig
