does anyone have any experience with the press sold by riverside-they call it the 'uncle al's hydraulic press'- it appears to be the same one sold by old world anvils and that is usually a ringing endorsement in my experience. I've not seen anyone mention it on these forums before however- thanks

Its loud. Unless you live well away from others late night use might be a problem.
Its fast and will handle a 3inch stack np , changing dies is easy. If you make you own dies be sure the base is a little over built, it straddles a gap and will warp making it hard to remove if its too thin.

Nice forge. Must work pretty well with those two T-REX burners... Only know of one other person in San Diego County (Fallbrook) that is a maker on this forum. I am in the Rancho Penasquitos area. What part of San Diego are you from?
