Walosi, I think I finally understand what you're saying. Drop the point, more or less? Thought about it... but as you say, this is becoming a camel. I'm going to put my second version into wood, and see how it works out.

Now, $200 US is pretty steep for me right now, coming out to about $300 after exchange and before duties. Much expensive blade - the BAS blem (which -will- be arriving tomorrow, no doubt...) will be the most expensive knife I have ever owned. I'll have to save up my pennies for a fair while before I can commit those kinds of funds.

But here's an idea. What if I were to carve the mock up, send it off to Nepal, see what the kamis think, and buy mine once they've had practise making everyone else's? ;)
