I recently acquired this used Kershaw 1559 Decimus here on the forum. It’s not fancy but turns out I like it quite a lot as my urban beater EDC.

The size and function are about perfect for my needs. And I like the dual-guard, dagger-style blade. But it’s heavier than I’d like, and the plastic scales feel cheap. I’m not a fan of the assisted-opening action and would prefer a ball-bearing flipper. Lastly, I want a deep-carry pocket clip.

Can y’all recommend something similar with these additional attributes? My budget is around $150.

Cool Kershaw! Sounds like Viper knives would fit the bill. The Storm is a sweet model (Rick Hinderer colab) and they go for around 200 and change new. Made in Italy.
