I’ve been wanting a KaBar Dog Head Barlow forever. What other patterns are there?

That’s the one I’ve been drooling over for years. They have gotten pretty expensive over the past couple of years. I’ll get one someday but until then I’ll live vicariously through you lol

The color of the bone that they used on the copper bolstered Barlows is especially nice. I think they called it Root Beer.

I think so. I forget, were these D2 steel? This one had a very stiff pull when I first got it. Took some breaking in over the years

I seem to remember 14-4 CroMo. Very good steel, either way.

You're probably right. It's been 8 or 10 years since I bought that one & I don't have the box anymore.
