I ain't drunk (yet). .. I'm just drinkin'!!!!!!

As far as 1911 Grips ol' Jerry was suppose to make some realy cool ones that looked like the AD grips but some how that went on the back burnner permantly

Lets get him back on that project!!!!!:D :grumpy:

Re Fusion:

Lets review what we know:

Jerry killed nearly the whole line a week or two ago. This includes the venerable Battle Mistress, Steel Heart, etc. etc.

Several rants about "The Great Chetonin" which was revealed to translate as "Great Wind" or "Nuclear Wind" or something like that.

An ad for the "Fusion" was posted. The ad shows several old variations of Busse knives, which will presumably contribute interesting features to the "Fusion" line.

The new line will be ready for the Blade show (june 13-15) or in two weeks, whichever comes last.

Oh, yeah. Lots of INFI has been up for sale, so those in the know, know something, or smell something in the water, or mass psychosis struck. My money's on the last one.

with the smooth grips it's better to have a frontstrap and mainspring treatment of checkering, Burns Wave, stipling, Heinie scallops, Christensen's conimyds, or Krebs snakeskin...

I never did understand (are you seeing a pattern here?) the whole turtle, Chetonin thing. It has something to do with destruction and rebirth and some Indian's calling some guy the great white ass kicker or something like that. I think it just means..."save for more knives", but I could be and usually am wrong:p :D

My fat hands and short fingers really like the slim line grips on the TRS. :D I liked them so much I fitted a set to the Stinger too. Flat mainspring housing all the way.

Simonich make some called gunner grips looks like the grips on his Raven knife.

Sure wish I had some Nuker Grips:rolleyes:

Well since this is a Beer Chat and not an official Death Chat, I must take my leave. The wife is looking for some company and my eyes are growing weak. Good night all.

And another one down...................:D

Dane Burns has Micarta grips that are nice

More info please! I have a Ek Bowie obtained via Don Rac, via Wam03, that I'd like to have rehandled in Micarta, ala RMK #14 BP style...any takers? Any references? Any thoughts?

If you want a laugh, take someone who thinks they know how to shoot out and give them a mauser k98k. Then tell them to 'keep it in tight to their shoulder, 'cause it recoils straight back'. When they fail to take said advice, enjoy the grimace on their face as rifle butt slams into shoulder...:D
