Wanted to go over there to teach English (university level) which (at that time) only required a B.A. from any accredited US university. Plans fell through, though, and never got to go... My major was Asian Studies w/ a specialty in Nihon's Genpei war era and the Meiji Restoration/Pre-WWII era... I loved those classes in college... about the only ones not chock full of liberal propaganda, other than Prof. Rothenburg's classes... Gotta respect a man who went through WWII, Korea, and 2 Arab-Israeli wars
