At least thats what happened to me...

Those leather holsters are great! Where? How much? I want...

E1, E1e, E2, E2e, M2, M3T, M6... (and counting...)

Michael requested some leather holsters for his lights, stitched to wear on his left side, the E1 goes down deeper as there isn't the anti-roll bezel on that one, the other two go in as deep as it is
round up to the bezel. Thanks for Posting the pic Michael!

You'll note that the clips are off these, I had to fabricate a small piece of plastic to fit in the resulting slot so the 'O'ring had something to hit upon when screwed down tight.

Don't normally make these, I own the E1 and the E2e HA models as well as an old faithful 9P, powerful lights!

Email me if you are interested in a holster for one of these, can possibly also form them to allow for the clip to remain...

SureFire lights are the best I've found so far!

Yes! A SureFire helps you see (!)
The quality of light - brilliant white.
The flawless beam. The beam spread.

I find that with a SureFire, I can see more, more quickly.
And this gives me confidence.
SureFires allow me to be better aware of my surroundings.

That's why I feel the E2e carried on you all the time is such a great tool. Allows you to have SureFire light when you need it. That's also why I carry an M2, or M3T when I know I'm going to be out in the dark.
The right tools for the right tasks.

Size15s,

Thanks again for your kind help.

Something you said in your last post is what keeps me flip-flopping back and forth between a M2 and E2e. E2e is easy to carry all day long (AWESOME!), but you said that you carry a M2 or M3 when you know you'll be out in the dark. by this I think you meant where not-so-nice people may lurk.

Is the E2e a good light to use to light up bad guys, or is the M2 with the P61 bulb really that much better?

Thanks!

I have never met any badguys, nor have I trained for such encounter.
I carry the E2e all the time.
I carry a brighter, more power, usually longer range SureFire when I go out in the dark.
Badguys don't concern me. I just like to see.

A word of caution on these flashlights, I have been carrying the E2e HA model for well over a month, inside a neat side pocket of my Columbia ROC pants, they aren't cargo pants but has a nice side pocket along with a pen holder place, BUT from carrying the light there, the knurling is so coarse that it has worn through the pocket! Now I don't want to look like Batman when I'm at work...utility belt wise that is, no one seems to mind the cape at all...;) so I haven't made a holster to carry the light in, but I certainly can't put up with the nawing through the pants routine! So becareful what you wear them in! for now I don't carry it with me every day, but only when I need to go out and then inside my coat or my bag...

I've been carrying my E2e-HA clipped to the inside of my trouser pocket since Feb02. I've had no problems with the coarse knurling damaging my clothes. I have worn down the raised textured 'knurling' on the rubber pressure switch. I'll have to order a replacement Z52 E Series HA LOTC.

Of course, some suit material may be less durable then the trousers I normally wear, but I'm not in combats, mostly hiking trousers for work (10 months at my job and they're not been able to get me a company uniform)

That ride shouldn't wear too bad I guess, have to try that, the pocket on the side of the leg, everytime you sit down it ROLLS the
light side to side, you can imagine what that does!
Excellent light though! and I really love that little E1, so handy!

One of these days I'll get one of the BIG headed dealy thingamabobs that can cut metal with it's ray...;)

Started w/a 6Z. Bumped it up with a P61. Lights up the whole court.

Then got an e2. Carried it, but wanted a lock-out tailcap.

Got my e2e-HA a couple months ago. Love it. Also picked up a G2 so I can put a P61 into it. Just wish it had a lock-out as well as a lanyard ring. Probably buy as accessory.

The e2e-HA is a great EDC, tough, compact, and able to identify things that go bump in the night. (although the 6Z/P61 is next to my Colt in the headboard)

Crayola, you asked about what to cary with the e2e, I recommend a .45 and a Steel Heart.....

If you are considering the tactical impact device you can find them here.

I'll give another vote for the E2eHA. I got mine a couple months ago and its great although it sits next to my bed its nice to know if I go out walking at night I'll be able to see half the block.
