I already bought my wife her Christmas present

I purchased a Maxpedition Proteus Versipack and a pink Izula. I am hoping there is somewhere on the pack to attach the knife on the outside. (I guess right up front will do) Also, my wife is not really a knife person but hopefully this gift will go well.

If you got the kit, the molle lock should attach to the front, side or belt just fine.
 
My girlfriends birthday is coming up and to start her into my knife addiction I am getting her a pink SAK for her keychain. Best of luck to you with the gift
 
I only got the standard black sheath; not the entire kit with molle. It looks like I can at least tie it with paracord (I hope?)

Hopefully she will see the use in it and really like it. Need to get her using it. I think the more non-knife nuts use knives, the more they like them and appreciate them.

I've had a few lady friends who might possibly use that knife on me if I ever gave them that for a Christmas gift. Then again, I've had quite a few who would think it's pretty cool. Hope she's one of the latter :D

I'll send you a pair of purple izula grips for free (see my thread about custom izula grips).
Only condition would be to send me a photo of them on a pink izula. I think they would look cool but I'll never buy a pink one to check it out. If you don't like them use them as kindling :)

Paracord works well for mounting an izula, just have to train her to use her thumb when drawing the knife. Otherwise you'll get uncontroled slashing when the friction breaks
 
Nice idea! I was thinking of getting my wife one of the Proteus Versipack for her b-day or x-mas. Hmmmm.... have ta look at them again..:)
 
I'm getting my wife a $90 purse so I can buy either a sabercat or jumbo v-pack...I told her I was done buying her expensive purses that she uses for 3 months then never touches...wish I could get her something that I could also use
 
Cool, hope she likes it. I've thought about buying a Pink one for my wife but she'll see through the gesture and realize it was just an excuse to buy another knife.
 
Also Maglite has a line of pink products in support of cancer survivors. You could get her a pink maglite solitaire or another light to go in the pack as well. Well, that's if she likes pink...
 
Got a comfortable couch to sleep on? :D Nice work planning ahead. I was just telling the wife last night to be laying out catalogs with stuff highlighted and preferably numbered in order of preference!

My Christmas gift was supposed to be a RAT. I told her I'd start "researching" and deciding what I wanted. Two weeks later I went ahead and ordered one. Maybe I'll get an Izula for Christmas!
