And it was a blast seeing Mike, Bob, and the rest of the people I've gotten to know over the years.
I was getting ready to leave Friday nite, and a knife caught my attention. It looked like a Busse! It was, it was a Busse!
I got closer and it was a straight handle badger! My mouth hit the floor. As I looked closer, it looked as if it was hit with a bullet!
It was, it was hit with a bullet!!

I thought...could this be the Wounded Badger?!
It was! It was, the Wounded Badger!!

I hope there's pics.

Cause you know how it goes; pics or it didn't happen! ;););)

I would be shocked if it was for sale, but it would be great to see it and hear the story.

I don't think the story of how/why he got it need be told on the forums. The seller shouldn't be reminded of it as he lurks here (it's not me BTW). Bottom line it was sold and Aaron now has the ultimate good karma Busse.

WB is pleased it went to a brother that will appreciate it!

The proofs in pics Aaron, where's your camera?

Wow, hotrod....

That is one of the legendary Busses you're holding.

Kind of like Excalibur.....

Congratulations.

Sorry I wasn't there to witness it.

Weather forecasts kept me away from Indy.

How does posting that he saw it equate to him buying or having any form of possession of it? He already posted that they don't allow cameras at the show.

It happened just as I described it. The part I left out was that I had to beg, borrow, steal the funds to get it, that, and losing sleep saturday night waiting to get back at the show. It really was the most work I've done to get a knife.

The pic of it is on the 2nd or 3rd page in the "nothing but pics" thread. I'll try to take pics soon.

Okay...so here is Hammy's picture from the pic thread.

Aaron, when you can, please get us a shot of the whole thing.
Wait...bad word choice...please take a picture. :D

Wow Aaron, the Indy show sure is lucky for you....a couple years back didn't you find a Busse Steath for $10.00??? This sure reminds me of that!!

LOL. Actually, I told everyone I paid $1.00 for it out of a junk bin. That was a story me and Hammy created for a little fun. I paid $100.00 for it. I wish I still had it. :(

I believe the accident happened during a live training exercise. But i dont remeber the whole story. I would like to hear it again.

Congrats on the score Aaron, but I would have never sold a knife that saved my life.
