Was the Wounded Badger refurbished by the Shop beofre it was shot? Why is the ground edge coated?
How does posting that he saw it equate to him buying or having any form of possession of it? He already posted that they don't allow cameras at the show.![]()
The STORY behind it's wound isn't a problem. How Aaron came to acquire it is not appropriate for people who don't know the original owner to know. Let's leave it at that.
It was a training excercise with an AD ("Accidental Discharge" for those who don't know the terminology). It saved his life. He is, as one might expect, forever grateful for Busse Quality. It had an Okuden sheath that got shattered in the incident. Okuden replaced it promptly.
HRK, you realize that you cannot simply "sell" a piece of history like that. If that time ever comes, something suitably "epic" must be arranged to coincide with any ... transfer of responsibility.![]()

Aaron, per our conversation at the show, if you need help to post 360 degree pics so everyone can enjoy with the narrative (without names, departments, or locations), let me know. I'll be in your area later this week.

It did exchange hands?I'll echo on the "Post pics"!
I don't know any of it's story, but who wouldn't pay attention to a blade as unique as the Wounded Badger? Congrats on touching a piece of history, hotrodKelley!

You guys have gotta see that there are jokes buried deeply in this post. Man I wish I was there.![]()
Thought I put my last post in this one, but since you quoted me and made a gratuitous assertion, compelled to reply.
There are no jokes in my post. I am trying to protect the personal privacy of all involved because they aren't forumites. Stuff happens to people that just isn't good sometimes. It doesn't need to be replayed here.
Aaron's PC is giving him issues and he might need help with posting pics. No more, no less.
Thanks.
It was a tough situation for everyone involved. Especially the owner that had to sell his life saving gift.
let me get the violin
this whole thread is BS.
No story no pics.
