I've brought the boss-lady around to my way of thinking :)

We are making an offer on 44 acres of land in Washington state this afternoon :D :D :D.

IF we can get over a few hurdles, we might be able to start building this coming Spring. Whoo hooo !!!!

We wont be low-balling on our offer , so I fully expect them to accept. :D

Where in WA? Must be east, 'cause the west is outrageously pricey, even in the so-called "sticks"!

From one dirty hippie to another, CONGRATS! Mark, I know you and the Missus will have a good life out there. Its GOOD in life to get what you yearn for. There is no better feeling in the world. :thumbup:

we had to cancel plans on this years reunion, we didn't have enough time to plan it..
I'll be there next fall for sure it's all set up now... our Ships reunion will be Friday Oct 13th- Saturday
to Oct 14th 2006
 
Well we just got the offer worked out and faxed in Wednesday night. Turns out the owner of the property is out of town for a couple days. Hopefully we'll hear something by the w/e.

I expect some grief on the way the offer was worded. The owner will probably want to come to a more concrete wording on putting in the access road. The way it's worded right now, I could make hime put in a gold leafed 4 lane hiway to the home sight :D.

I'll be flying out again at the end of the month to close if all goes well.

keep your fingers crossed for me.


How does a hammer-in / barn raising party sound ? I'll buy the beer and food :D

Going to be a bummer with you all the way over there. Uh wait a minute, I have an excuse to visit and it sounds like you've got plenty of room for the goats. :yawn:
